  • Camps Cancellation Policy:  A $50 cancellation fee applies to all camp enrollment. If cancellation is required, FAI will provide in-house credit for the tuition balance, minus the $50 cancellation fee only if notified at least seven days before the first day of camp. All tuition is forfeited with less than seven days' notice.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up

  • Children 7 and up - For your convenience, you may drop off and pick up children 7 and older at the front entrance. If it is your first time in the building, please escort your child to their room for the first class.

  • Children 3-6 years - Please drop off and pick up children at their classrooms. As space in the gallery area is limited, we encourage parents to wait in our courtyard. Alternatively, parents are welcome to use this time to run errands and return for pick-up.

Cancellations

  1. Instructor-Led Cancellations: If an instructor needs to cancel a class, students will receive notification through email, text message, or phone call. We will reschedule the class later. If rescheduling is not feasible, students will receive credit for the missed class.

No make up classes or refunds are offered for classes cancelled due to weather.

In the Classroom

  • Student Independence in Artwork: We strongly encourage all students to create artwork independently, fostering creativity and personal growth.

  • Parental Presence in Children's Classes: To ensure a conducive environment for creativity and individual learning, parents are not allowed in children's classes during session times.

  • Behavioral Standards and Enrollment: FAI is committed to a positive learning atmosphere. Consequently, we reserve the right to refuse enrollment or dismiss any student whose behavior is disruptive or detrimental to this environment. Such behavior may also lead to suspension from future programs or classes.

  • Class Schedules and Instructors: FAI reserves the right to modify class schedules or substitute instructors as needed. Any such changes will be communicated to students in advance.

Health

  • Illness Prevention: To maintain a healthy environment, we request that anyone with a household member exhibiting fever or illness symptoms refrains from attending classes. Our goal is to ensure a safe and creative space for all participants.

  • Risk Acknowledgment: By enrolling at the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, you acknowledge the inherent risks of in-person attendance and agree to comply with all our health and safety measures while on the premises.

Wait Lists

Class sizes are limited but wait lists are available and are filled in the order received. Students will be contacted  when/if space becomes available.

Security Measures

  • Building Access: Ensuring student safety is of utmost importance. Outside of office hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday), all doors will be securely locked following student arrival. Access after-hours can be gained using the doorbells located at the main entrance and on the east side of the building.

  • Video Surveillance: FAI makes limited use of video surveillance systems on its property. Video surveillance systems are primarily used to record access at building entrances, gallery and lobby space.  Surveillance cameras are never used in areas where privacy is expected. The primary purpose of the  surveillance system is to allow the investigation of crimes committed against the organization.
