Kids Clay, Pottery & Sculpture Classes

Experience the calming art of ceramics in this class that is great for children of all skill levels. Pottery encourages creativity, increases motor skills, and allows children to solve problems in a fun and safe environment! This class will cover everything from the wheel to different building techniques. Instructors: Ms Kate and Ms Fatima

Grades 2nd-5th

**Fall Mondays or Thursdays 4:30 – 6:00

Class  Procedures:
Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 8 students in a class
to adhere to social distancing guidelines.  Proper spacing will be easily identified in all areas.
Students will be provided with hand sanitizer upon entering the building, and available in all classrooms.
Surfaces and supplies will be cleaned and sanitized with FDA approved sanitizer at regular intervals throughout the day.
Students and teachers are strongly encouraged to wear facemasks
Parents and siblings CANNOT wait in the common areas of the building while students are in class
PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTIONS…if you child is running a fever or feeling ill, please keep them home

In this 3 week session, we will learn how to use a ceramic mold to pour holiday ornaments. We will glaze a ceramic Christmas tree and paint our ornaments. This would be a fun way to share a class with friends and family members.  Anyone younger must be accompanied and assisted by an adult. Instructor: Jackie Nelson

  • Ceramic Christmas Tree
    December 3, 2020 - December 17, 2020
    1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Time to get ready for Santa! We will use clay to create a snowman mug, Santa plate and reindeer bowl. Several techniques will be taught during this class. Instructor: Jackie Nelson
