A/B Art Camp: 9:00 – 12:00
Weekdays, K-5th grades

On virtual learning days, students spend 3 hours creating art taught by the  Art in Schools Program teachers at FAI .  Students rotate between instructors using a variety of mediums and exploring different elements of art. Select the day(s) that works best for your family. Classes and projects vary until traditional school resumes.  Enrollment requires a multiple week commitment, however refunds or credits will be issued if/when Edmond Public School classes are back in session.

By enrolling at the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, you accept all risk in attending in-person classes and agree to adhere to all social distancing and PPE use requirements while on the premises. Student and teacher safety is a top priority. All teachers and students are asked to wear face coverings. PPE cleaning procedures are performed daily and class sizes are limited to 8 students to adhere to social distancing guidelines and to maximize individual learning.

Art is an exciting adventure!  This year long curriculum is divided into 4 separate sessions and covers a variety of art disciplines. Come to one session, or continue year-round. Drawing, painting, printmaking, and 3D art is used to explore and create while gaining inspiration from the world around us.  A variety of new mediums and techniques will be explored each week. “It Starts Here”.  Welcome to the world of art!  This class is designed to offer a comprehensive art experience filled with art projects that enhance the study of art in our world.  The class is divided into 4 separate sessions. Come to one session,  or continue year around. From cave painting to 20th century art, we will explore and create in every class.

“It Starts Here”,  focuses on prehistoric, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art, how it was made and the influences we see today. Join us for some hands on art history fun. Instructor: Kyndal Dunn

A great “hands on” art experience. And, a great escape from the “computer” world! Designed for students to experience the unique materials used in fiber arts, this hands on class allows student to work with many different mediums specific to fiber arts. This yearlong curriculum is divided into 4 sessions with new emphasis in each session. Come to one session, or continue year around. From making sketchbooks, weaving, batik, and surface designs, student will create a variety of artwork while expanding their knowledge of fiber arts. The first session explores papers – handmade papers, book binding, and paper arts.  Join us in this unique new class! Instructor: Kyndal Dunn
