Adult Clay & Pottery Classes

Learn the fundamentals of working with clay and glazes.  Wheel throwing, hand building and mold pouring through instructor demonstrations and one on one instruction is provided. Learn advanced decoration techniques, experiment with carving, template design transfer, wax resist, glaze layering, spray on glazing and painting with glaze. Combine beautiful form with everyday functionality. Finished pieces are food safe, oven safe, microwave and dishwasher safe. Already have experience with clay? Come in for some studio time to sharpen those skills.  Instructors: Tracy Wilmes

Already have experience with clay? This student driven class provides personal studio time, without an instructor to practice pottery skills. Use the wheel or work using slab techniques on your own time. All materials will be included. All completed pieces will be fired on site.

ages: 18 years and up

Wednesdays: 11:00 – 1:00
