40th Annual Downtown Edmond Arts Festival Coming Soon
The Annual Downtown Edmond Arts Festival is here once again! The festival is celebrating its 40th year and will take place the first weekend in May in downtown Edmond. Organizers promise the event to be bigger and better than ever before, with artists, musicians, and food vendors descending on the downtown area.

The annual festival is one of the most popular events of the year in Edmond. The event is sponsored by local businesses, and brings artists and musicians from around the region. Musicians featured this year will include multiple singer/songwriters, school groups, and performances by Painted Sky Opera. Musical events will run continuously during the event, located on the corners of First and Broadway, Main and Broadway, as well as at the Festival Market Pavilion.
Don’t worry about eating before you visit. Food trucks will be parked at the festival – many returning from previous years. A variety of options will be available, including full meals, ice cream, and wine. In addition to food, there will be a large children’s area with activities for all ages.
More than 120 artists and artisans will present their work at the festival. Artists showcased at the event filled the available booths months ahead of the scheduled event. Many artists find this to be the most profitable show of the year for their artwork. Featured artwork includes photography, jewelry, sculpture, and oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings.
