Saturday, January 20: 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon – Drop off labeled artwork at the Downtown Edmond Community Center, 28 E. Main, Edmond. NO WORK ACCEPTED AFTER NOON

Monday, January 22: Award recipients will be listed on FAI website by noon. edmondfinearts.com
Tuesday, January 23: 7:00 PM Awards Reception at the Downtown Edmond Community Center, 28 E. Main, Edmond.
Thursday, January 25: End of show. Pick up all artwork at the Downtown Edmond Community Center, 28 E. Main, Edmond, between 2:00 & 5:00 pm.
Exhibit Open: Saturday, January 20 at 2:00 PM – Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 PM
CATEGORIES: -Grades 1st-3rd -Grades 4th-6th
-Grades 7th-9th -Grades 10th-12th
AWARDS: 40 – $25 Awards of Excellence – 20 – $25 Special Recognition Awards (No participation ribbons will be given)
- Two dimensional artwork MUST be matted
- Canvas paintings must have appropriate wire for hanging
- NO WET ARTWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED
- Students may submit multiple entries
MEDIA ACCEPTED: Pencil, ink, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, oil, print media, mixed media, pottery, sculpture & fiberwork.
NO JEWELRY WILL BE ACCEPTED NO FRAMES OR GLASS

2018 JUROR: Narciso Arguelles grew up in Tijuana, Mexico. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego. He got his MFA from the University of California, Irvine. Narciso has exhibited at the 9th Biennale of Sydney, The First Johannesburg Biennale in South Africa, and all over the United States. including New York City, New Haven, Los Angeles, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. He currently teaches full time at the high school level and adjuncts at several colleges. Mr. Arguelles has judged many student exhibitions and also curates art exhibits around the state.
Reasonable care will be given to all work. However, the work is submitted at the artists’ risk. Neither the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, The Edmond Community Center, or sponsors will be held responsible for damage, loss or theft of work. Art work submitted may be photographed and used in publicity. The Fine Arts Institute will be free to dispose of any entry not claimed by January 31, 2018 unless prior arrangements have been made.
