About the Juror - Native Oklahoman, Reian Williams has been drawing and painting since he was a young child, even winning various art competitions in elementary school. After high school, he traveled abroad and settled in South Florida where he continued refining his art painting murals and fine art for clients in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Now having moved back to his home state of Oklahoma, Reian is more focused than ever on the quality and consistency in producing his artwork. As he states, "Art is an emotion. Whether it is from the artist or the viewer, it is meant to give a message. We can each get our own different messages as well as our own different emotions. But it is a sense of depth in our perception towards relevance”. Reian is an adult art instructor at the Fine Arts Institute and recently opened HUE - Studio/Gallery in Downtown Edmond where his work, along with others, is on display.
